Copilot Chat is a cloud service offered by Microsoft that combines OpenAI\u2019s GPT-4 class generative AI with internet search capabilities via Bing. Under the university\u2019s EES contract, the version available is \u201cCopilot Chat with Commercial Data Protection.\u201d Those who have a university-issued Microsoft account with the domain @u or @un. \u203bIf the above steps do not work as expected, please try starting over from the beginning \u2014 this may resolve the issue.<\/p>\n If you are using Windows 11 (version 23H2 or later), you can also access the service through the Windows Copilot app.<\/p>\n Important Notes<\/span> \u203bPlease use this service in accordance with the university\u2019s guidelines and policies on generative AI use. \u203bAcademic Computing and Communications Center does not provide support for using Copilot Chat.<\/p>\n There are differences between Copilot Chat (formerly Bing Chat Enterprise) and Microsoft 365 Copilot.<\/span><\/p>\n Microsoft 365 Copilot works in conjunction with Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
