The 802.1X authentication is not for the displacement of web-based authentication, and it will be operated in parallel with the web-based authentication.<\/p>\n<h2>Period of test operation<\/h2>\n<p>The test operation will continue until 31st March, 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>Available access areas and eligibility<\/h2>\n<p>For information on <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/guide#area\">available access areas<\/a> and <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/guide#user\">eligibility<\/a> for the On-Campus Wi-Fi System, see the <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/guide\/\">User\u2019s Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Notes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Please refer to the <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/notice\">relevant notes<\/a> on the access point connection.<\/li>\n<li>Support services are unavailable due to test operation.<\/li>\n<li>Comments on functional improvement are welcome.<\/li>\n<li>The test operation may stop and end without notice.<\/li>\n<li>Connection method over 802.1X authentication may change without notice and it may differ from that of official service. Please check the notices and information provided by ACCC periodically.<\/li>\n<li>There is no consent page. By connecting to on-campus WiFi system using the 802.1X authentication, you shall be deemed to have agreed to all of the <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/notice\">relevant notes<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to use the On-Campus Wi-Fi System using 802.1X authentication<\/h2>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer terminals that provide wireless LAN interface compatible with 802.1X authentication<\/li>\n<li>Wireless LAN interface configuration enabling automatic acquisition for IP address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to get connected<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Find and select &#8220;utwlan-x&#8221; among available wireless LAN access points.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;WPA2 enterprise&#8221; for authentication method, and input your <a href=\"\/wp_e\/service\/guide#id\">UTID-13 and password<\/a>.
