On 7/11, an automated email from Adobe was sent to some users with the following subject line.
Complete Plan (Educational Institutions) available.”
This was due to an administrative operational error.
We understand that some of you may have felt uneasy.

About Comprehensive Contract of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC)
The initial password for the Unified Authentication System notified to you by card or other means will expire if you do not change it within the specified period.
If your initial password for the Unified Authentication System has expired (i.e., you can no longer log in), you will need to have your password reissued (reset). You can have your password reissued at the nearest university library with your student ID card. Please refer to the following
FAQ “I lost my Unified Authentication System password or my password is no longer valid”
We have confirmed that the installer downloaded from the Download Station of our univ. dose not work well on macOS 12.3. So if you are to install these software, please update your macOS to 12.3.1 beforehand.

We have confirmed that the installation program from DS does not work properly on macOS 12.3.
If you use the Apex One, Office and Adobe software from the download station, please wait for a while to update to macOS 12.3.
Please ignore this warning if you download/install from the Apple Store, Microsoft 365, or from Adobe’s web site.
Adobe Contracts at the University and their Expiration Dates
Expiration date of current contract: 2022/03/26
New contract starts: Mar. 27, 2022
Users with an Enterprise ID login will continue to be able to use Adobe CC.
The usage period (expiration date) of Adobe CC installed using the installer distributed through the Software Distribution Management System (https://ds.cc.tsukuba.ac.jp/download/) is until 2022/03/26, the expiration date of the current contract.
After that, it cannot be used and the installer will not be distributed.

The Antivirus software “Trend Micro Apex One (TMAO)” now supports Windows 11.
The version that supports Windows is “Agent Version 14.0.10071”.
If your PC is already using TMAO and it has been updated to the latest version by an automatic update from the management server, you can update to Windows 11 support version.
Note:
Refer to the following site for how to check the version of installed TMAO.
About client software version of Trend Micro AntiVirus software (Win/Mac)
Microsoft will not support Office 2013 after 11 April 2023, and further, it does not work on Windows 11.
ACCC will accordingly stop providing it after 31 March 2022 and recommend you to switch to another version, better to the Sing-In use.

SINET5 (the upstream line that our university uses for external connections), which is provided by the National Institute of Informatics, will be replaced by SINET6.

(A) Persons who have upgraded to Windows 10 with a Microsoft license provided by the university.
(B) Persons who are trying to upgrade to Windows 11 with the Microsoft license provided by the university.
* This upgrade is a change from Windows 10 or earlier to Windows 11 provided by the Academic Computing & Communications Center.
Those who do not plan to upgrade are not eligible.
Microsoft Windows 11, released on October 5, 2021, is expected to be available in late January 2022 as a Windows OS upgrade under the University’s Comprehensive Agreement for Education (EES).
We will inform you again on this page when it becomes available, so please wait for a while for Windows OS upgrade support.
Free upgrades be distributed from Microsoft’s website etc., but please refrain from doing so until the university verification is completed.
If you are using the anti-virus software distributed by the Academic Computing & Communications Center, please check if it is compatible with Windows 11 before upgrading.
Please note that Organization for Information Infrastructure will not be able to handle any problems caused by upgrading the Windows OS independently before the notification of the end of verification.

The version that supports macOS is “Agent Version 3.5.5709”.
If your PC is already using TMAOM and it has been updated to the latest version by an automatic update from the management server, you can update to the Monterey support version.
