Using Adobe CC via “Adobe CC for Lab” in Laboratories

We provide “Adobe CC for Lab” as a method for students to use Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) on university-owned PCs designated for educational use, such as those in laboratories and computer classrooms.

How to Use

[Installation] 

 

When installing “Adobe CC for Lab” (formerly called Shared Device Licensing) on M1 or M2 Macs, please make sure to install Rosetta 2 in advance by following the instructions at the link below:

Download the installer labeled “For Lab: Adobe CC for Lab (available for both Mac and Windows)” from the Academic Computing and Communications Center portal site. (Only faculty and staff are permitted to download the installer.) Installing this package will also install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application (CCDA). 

Applications such as Acrobat should be installed from within CCDA. 

Installation and download must be performed by a faculty or staff member. 

 

[After Installation: Logging in and Using Applications] 

Once installed, CCDA and all Adobe applications must be used by logging in with the individual user’s account. 

 

User ID: Your “@u” university email address (e.g., s1234567@u.tsukuba.ac.jp) 

 

Password: Your Microsoft 365 (m365) password 

 

[Restrictions and Important Notes] 

“Adobe CC for Lab” is only for use on university-owned PCs intended for educational purposes and must be used within the university premises. 

Installing the software on a student’s personal computer is strictly prohibited and violates the license agreement. 

Installation and download must be performed by a faculty or staff member. 

 

Do not upload or share the downloaded installer on Google Drive or any other online platform. 

 

A network connection is required when logging in to use Adobe applications. 

 

Always download the latest installer from the Academic Computing and Communications Center  portal site.
